For a while now, we have heard about companies coordinating with schools across the country to build tech and related curriculum into the grade and high school years. As a company, the prospects of waiting for this talent to develop and enter the workforce is a long-term view. It doesn't address their current, urgent needs. Vastly important - yes - as one part of their overall talent strategies.
I have been screaming into a void of late, that talent is waiting for the opportunity to pivot into Tech - they are just needing the training, and means to do it. Thank you Google - 100,000 scholarships for career training/pivots and not all in high level tech! Take a look - apply now!
